2011 - Date

Dormer House School, as Headmistress. A PNEU primary school with around 100 children plus a nursery with another 50 children. Staff across the school and nursery number 35.


2007 - 2011

The Paragon School, Director of Studies, class teacher (Year 5) and member of the Senior Management Team. Curriculum leader for PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education)


2003 - 2007

Heidelberg International School, initially as grade 3-5 class teacher, then as Middle School teacher for Mathematics, English as language A and B and Humanities. Also responsible for setting up the new Middle School. I was the Middle Years Programme Coordinator. Tasks included managing the staff, curriculum development and liaising with the IBO. Also part of various working groups - writing the handwriting policy, working on the school mission statement and philosophy, heading the International Week working group, part of the Yearbook committee, member of the Parent and Teacher Group, member of the Strategic Thinking group and member of the school policy rewriting team

curriculum. Part of a PE working party. Extra-curricular work included

running a netball club, dry-ski club, recorder group and school trips to
